Greater Metro Conference teams Brookfield East and DSHA were 3rd/4th in the meet, Brookfield East had two individual qualifiers, Milwaukee King and Arrowhead each had one.
Germantown was led by freshman Samyiah Fox who placed 10th overall and was the 5th individual finisher; this was enough to qualify her for the WIAA State Cross Country Meet this Saturday in Wisconsin Rapids. Lizzy Liker, Erin Fredrickson, Clarie Reedy, Ella Armstrong, Keira Lorbecki (season best performance) and Izzy Mrzyglod made up the top 7 runners for the Warhawks.
Senior captains Erin Fredrickson and Izzy Mrzyglod have left their stamp on this years' group- their leadership and inspiration will be missed.
