Germantown High School’s Dramatic Impact received 24 nominations for their recent production of Mamma Mia! This is the first year that GHS has participated in the Jerry Awards, Wisconsin's High School Musical Theatre awards program that encourages, recognizes, and honors excellence in high school musical theater. Educators and industry professionals review productions at more than 85 high schools in 30 counties around the state. School and student achievements are honored and featured in an awards show held at Overture Center in Madison in June. Well done to all!
Congratulations to our Band and Choir students who performed at the WSMA State Solo and Ensemble Festival. Over 45 musicians in 33 events performed throughout the day at Cardinal Stritch University. Twenty-one entries earned the top rating. Great Job!
Despite strong pitching performances from Carter Szohr, Jack Kolinski, Brady Schulze, Brady Vincent, and Mitch Flora, the varsity baseball team lost 3 close games this week to GMC foes Brookfield Central, Marquette, and Sussex Hamilton. The varsity celebrates Senior Night Friday evening with a 5:00 game vs. Rufus King. Good luck!
This week the Germantown Boys' Golf Team traveled to North Hills CC for conference play. The wind was up and so were the scores. Germantown struggled to a 6th place finish. Low for the Warhawks was Cody Schmidt’s 42 followed by Camden Schmidt and Sam Sies 43 , rounding out the scoring was Justin Ische with a 48 and Joey Bruss 49.
The Warhawks are looking to get back on Par next week with matches on Monday , Tuesday and the Conference final on Wednesday. Good luck!
The Germantown Girls' Varsity Soccer Team has had a tough two game stretch losing to Brookfield East 0 – 1 and DSHA 1 – 3.
The girls were in the game to the end and played with pride and determination.

The Germantown Warhawks are on a 4 game winning streak. The past week they faced Tosa West in a double header on Monday. They faced Hale on Tuesday and Brookfield East Thursday night at Helfaer Field. The team has had stellar pitching and their bats have been on fire. The team has combined for 55 runs off of 60 hits. They have been hitting for a team average of .531. The team has a total of 5 home runs hit by Josie Smith, Skylar Bryl, Kayla Preiss with 2 home runs and Maddy Balsinger with a base loaded Grand Slam. The Warhawks have 1 more week of competition before they head into Regionals. Keep up the good work!
It has been great weather for tennis! The varsity team picked up wins against Kenosha Tremper, Tosa West, Waukesha South, and Homestead. The JV team has also been playing great these last couple weeks. They placed 6th at the JV conference tournament and had a great win over Homestead. Next up varsity is their conference tournament and sub-sectionals. Go Hawks!
