"Back to School Night" will be held on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, from 6–8:35 pm. This annual event is an opportunity for PARENTS to meet and greet GHS staff, attend their students’ classes, and find out more about GHS co-curricular activities.
The evening will begin with a presentation for parents of SENIORS only in the Performing Arts Center from 6–6:30 pm. Then at 6:45 pm, all parents will kick off their school day tour with Hour 1 classes. Student schedules can be printed ahead of time, accessed through the Skyward Mobile App, or requested in the Student Services department and/or Main Office that evening.
During their students’ classes, parents will receive an overview of the class expectations for attendance, participation, behavior, and citizenship, along with instructional and assessment strategies. The Resource Period session will be an informal “meet and greet". Announcements and bells at the end of each period will give directions to the next class.
