Ski TeamOn Thursday, the MSG Ski Team took on Slinger, Waukesha and Muskego ski teams in Giant Slalom at Sunburst Ski Hill. Both the Girls and Boys Varsity teams crushed it on senior night, each securing 1st place team finishes in their competitions! 

For the Germantown Girls, Paige MacIntyre earned a 3rd place finish, and Allie Wink played a crucial role in helping the team clinch the victory. On the Boys side, Jackson Butzke grabbed a 2nd place finish, with Grayson Butzke contributing a solid 3rd place finish to complete the strong showing.

Additionally, congratulations to Justin Sossaman and the Boys JV team for their incredible effort, securing a 3rd place finish in their competition.

Next MSG ski race is 6pm on Thursday, January 23 at Heiliger Heugel.

Germantown High School Basketball Team Triumphs Over Brookfield East in Thrilling 68-65 Win

In an exciting and hard-fought matchup, the Germantown High School basketball team edged out Brookfield East 68-65 in a game that kept fans on the edge of their seats until the very last second. The victory was highlighted by standout performances from several players who played pivotal roles in the team's success.

Cahlil Jones was the leading scorer for Germantown, contributing 17 points, along with 4 rebounds and 4 assists. His all-around play was critical in keeping the team composed and aggressive throughout the game. Jones' ability to score in key moments helped push the team to victory as the game went down to the wire.

Keenan Mulberry also had a strong showing, adding 13 points and 5 rebounds. His presence on the boards and his ability to finish around the basket were crucial in providing the team with much-needed scoring and second-chance opportunities.

JJ Walters continued to be a reliable contributor, putting up 11 points and securing 5 rebounds. Walters’ scoring and leadership helped keep Germantown’s offense flowing, particularly in moments when Brookfield East threatened to pull ahead.

Darrius Peete chipped in with 10 points, providing the team with a consistent offensive option. His ability to step up in crucial moments was key to Germantown maintaining their slim lead throughout the game.

Austin Grass added 9 points to the tally, providing a spark and playing an important role in keeping the team’s offense balanced and efficient.

PomsThe Warchix competed last weekend at Menomonee Falls! They placed 1st in Kick, 2nd in Pom and 3rd in jazz! They will be competing at their Regional competition next! Great job Warchix!
