BCCRunner-Up Finish for the Varsity Boys at the Port Washington Invite

GCCPort Invite – October 10th, 2024: Tendick Park was the site of the Port Washington Invite, with near perfect fall running conditions.  This park is a beautiful venue for a cross-country meet: out in the country with rolling terrain, woods, open prairies, and a big hill.

While it’s a challenging course, the girls ran great, with the varsity team placing 4th out of 13 schools, and the JV team taking home their 4th win of the season!  15 runners had PRs: Elise Olson, Katy Morin, Adeline Timm, Keira Lorbecki, Madeline Quesenberry, Ava Borchardt, Hailey Sadowski, Madison Burns, Allison Theys, Sarah Plambeck, Alana Olstad, Abby Schwedler, Brooklyn Chesir, Brooke Bengston, and Lizzie Blodgett.  Finishing with season best times were Samyiah Fox, Ella Armstrong, Emily Laitinen, Elyse Steuerwald, Brooke Jakubowski, and Cassie Zarder.

FULL RESULTS

This Friday is the Greater Metro Conference meet, held at Greenfield Park.  The girls ran here for their second meet, so it will be interesting to see how their times compare after a season of racing!
