Tuesday was Senior night vs Nathan Hale and the Hawks won 3-0. Seniors, Paige Boettcher, Madeline Jakusz, Megan Leedle, Ella Stoiber, Julia Sina, Stephanie Ackley, Tayler Gomolla and Kenna Becker all gave solid performances to secure the conference win. Well done to all!
Thursday the team headed to DSHA who is ranked #1 in the state and 6th Nationally. The girls played with heart and selflessness to compete against the lady Dashers. Mack Dawes and Megan Leedle shut down part of the Dasher offense with their huge blocks, and setters Paityn Johnson and Tayler Gomolla ran a quick tempo offense to catch them off guard. Ella Stoiber, Kenna Becker, Alaina Williams and Julia Sina were solid defensively as well. Amary Dione contributed to the team as a setter, at right side and at the outside positions. The Hawks fell to DSHA but not without a fight. This team is starting to peak and are certainly becoming fun to watch as they continue to develop.
