Come One, Come All! The GHS Dramatic Impact group presents their spring musical "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" Based on the 1996 Disney film and 1831 novel,
The Hunchback of Notre Dame tells the story of Quasimodo, the hunchbacked bell-ringer of Notre Dame, and his desire to one day be a part of the outside world.
Last week the Team 67 leadership group had the opportunity to go to Madison to watch a Wisconsin Badger Football Spring Practice. The trip went well beyond observing a practice. Once practice concluded the group was taken via coach bus on a complete campus tour of UW-Madison, learning about its history and what the University has to offer.
After the campus tour the group had lunch among UW Football players and coaches in the new Champions Club located in the South Endzone of Camp Randall Stadium. Following lunch there was a full football facilities tour which included areas like the weight room, players’ lounge and locker room.
To conclude the day the group went to the team meeting room where they learned about Badger Football Culture, met with an academic advisor to learn more about all the educational offerings at UW and ended with a hype video.
The group was able to learn many things about leadership and culture development that they can bring back here to GHS. They got a front row view of all the inner workings of a Power 5 Football program, learned about all UW-Madison has to offer students and athletes, as well as various jobs and careers that exist in a college football program beyond player and coach. Overall the day was a great experience for all. Thank you to the Badger Football Program for affording Team 67 Leadership with this great opportunity!
