To say they did an outstanding job would be an understatement.

In addition to having the opportunities to network and spend time with some of the top students across the state, they also competed in their DECA events for an opportunity to represent the State of Wisconsin at the National Leadership Conference this April in Anaheim, California.

In DECA Competitions, students are awarded by top placement on their event test as well as role plays.  Additionally, scores are combined and if they place in the Top 10 they are considered to be a State Finalist.  Students who place in the Top 7 earn a trip to Nationals.

Eleven Germantown students qualified for Nationals!  In what may have been a DECA first, Germantown placed in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in Business Finance and had an additional Top 10 finish, taking four of the Top 10 placements.  That was also almost the case in Accounting, having two Top 10 placements!
