United Sound is working hard on their music for the band concert. They join Wind Symphony for their performance. Along with United Sound, the entire band program is also gearing up for the night of music. Please join us on Wednesday, February 28 for two concerts in one night.
6:30 pm is Concert Winds and Symphonic Band
8:00 pm is the Jazz Ensemble, United Sound, and Wind Symphony.
All are welcome to come back on Thursday at 7:00 pm for the 7th and 8th grade band concert.
The MSG (Menomonee Falls - Sussex -Germantown) Ski Team athletes competed at the Wisconsin State High School Ski Championships this past weekend in La Crosse, WI. They all brought their finest in this extremely competitive field of the top skiing athletes in Wisconsin.
Varsity Girls team brought home a 4th place finish in Division 1(5th overall in 22 teams)!
Paige MacIntyre (junior) took 19th place overall out of 161 total racers.
Allie Wink (junior) landed in 79th place overall out of 161 total racers.
Varsity Boys team ended up with an 11th place in Division 1 (15th overall in 22 teams).
Jackson Butzke (junior) grabbed a 35th place overall out of 159 total racers.
Grayson Butzke (freshman) brought home 89th place out of 159 total racers.
The team is already looking forward to next season!

472 people attended "Murder on the Orient Express", which makes it the second-best selling play at Germantown. There were 18 students involved in the cast, and 22 students who helped offstage. Audiences loved the full sized rotating train car, and enjoyed the many shifty characters portrayed throughout the show.
Rehearsals have started for the next spring musical "The Hunchback of Notre Dame", which shows April 26-28. Tickets on sale now on the PAC website.

Arya Sagar who too 1st place in Informative speaking, Surya Sagar took 2nd in impromptu speaking, Emma Kuhn and Addison Brownfield took 2nd place in group acting, Julia Brunner took 2nd place in prose and Emily Tamas took 1st place in prose.
The team also took home a 1st place team trophy in the small team division! Good luck at State!
This summer the Warchix qualified to perform in Disney’s parade. The Warchix danced with teams all over the Midwest and even in the rain! The Warchix made team memories that will last forever and were able to celebrate all of their accomplishments this season!
Congratulations to the Hartford/Germantown Co-op Snowboarding Team as they competed in the State Tournament this past weekend. Germantown's Kaitlyn Scott competed in giant slalom. slalom, and boardercross finishing 11th overall out of 41 girls. The girls team finished 5th overall and the boys team were overall champions!
Good luck to the GHS Boys' Basketball Team as they host a Regional game next Friday, March 1st at 7pm against Hartford!
On Tuesday the GHS Girls' Basketball Team overcame an early 16-6 deficit to Hamilton to win 62-52. They knotted it up at 22 by halftime and pulled away from the Chargers in the 2nd half. Lucy Leininger led the way with 18 points and 14 rebounds. Jaycee Mani contributed 15 points to the win, while Danica Gosz chipped in 11 points and Madeline Jakusz pulled down 11 rebounds.
On Friday the Warhawks knocked off conference champion Brookfield East 77-69. They once again fought back from an early deficit and sealed the deal with solid free throw shooting down the stretch. Lucy Leininger dominated the Spartans with 27 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists, 4 steals and 3 blocks. Danica Gosz had a stellar offensive night with 23 points, while Madeline Jakusz did her thing with 12 points and 12 rebounds. Rachel Murphy made 5 of 6 free throws in the final minutes to help seal the win.
The girls basketball team hosts Fond du Lac on Friday in the regional semifinal. A win would most likely mean they would host Homestead in the regional final at 7:00 on Saturday night. Good luck!
