Kennedy Middle School students were amazing at the FBLA Middle School Regional Competition this past Saturday! In its inaugural year, KMS placed 2nd overall out of the six middle schools there! There were many top five placements for students in their events. The team now heads to State at the end of the month in the Dells! Good luck!
On Wednesday, January 31 the MSG Ski Team took on Brookfield Central, Franklin and Marquette/DSHA ski teams in Slalom at The Rock Snowpack. The Boys and Girls Varsity teams both brought home 2nd place due to the solid performances of all the athletes.
Paige MacIntyre took 7th place and Allie Wink took 12th. For the boys, Jackson Butzke took 6th place and Grayson Butzke took 10th. The final MSG ski race is on Thursday, February 8 at Sunburst for a 6:00 pm start.
The boys came in 4th in the roll off this week and they look toward their conference tournament next weekend- February 10. Germantown was the north divisional winner with a 10-2 record and are headed to the state tournament in Green Bay March 1-3!
Also representing G Town in the singles event will be Leo Borrelli and Nolan Rabehl. Good luck!

Famous detective Hercule Poirot is called back from Istanbul to London on urgent business. He intends to book a first-class compartment on the Orient Express, run by his former friend and colleague, Monsieur Bouc. The train is surprisingly full, but Bouc manages to secure Poirot a spot in the first-class cabin. While aboard the train, the angry businessman, Samuel Ratchett, corners Poirot and demands Poirot to investigate a series of ominous letters that have been sent to Ratchett, threatening his life.
This play is recommended for ages 12 and older.
HOSA-Future Health Professionals recently competed in Regionals for a chance to advance to state. The team had 19 state qualifiers and 8 alternates. Congratulations to the Germantown Ice Fishing Team who finished 11th overall, out of 70 teams, in the W.I.F.A. 250 inch Challenge Tournament. The team registered an impressive 334 inches of fish on Saturday. Germantown finished tied for 8th in the panfish category, with 10 bluegill that measured just under 83 inches, and 16th in the gamefish category with 10 Northern that measured 251 inches.
This weekend the Warchix traveled to Watertown for their Regional competition. They placed 2nd in their Pom and kick routine. The Warchix will be headed to La Crosse on Friday to compete at State! Great job and good luck, Warchix!

Last Friday, Skills USA went to a Regional competition at UW Platteville. Sahejpreet Kaur took gold in Related Technical Math, Jacob Schmidt took silver in Carpentry, Ben Gramdob took bronze in Welding Sculpture, and Riley Kunz took bronze in 3D Printing and Design.

On Friday, January 19th the Warhawks beat Wauwatosa East 89-38 and 11 players scored in the game. Nick Humphriss, Cahlil Jones, and Ryan Ferguson had 15 points each. Peyton Mckenna added 9 points and 11 assists. JJ Walters and Cooper Catalano both contributed 6 points and 6 rebounds. Mason Freiburger grabbed 8 rebounds and Carter Privatt had 6 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists.
On Saturday at the 3rd Annual Warhawk Invitational the guys fell to Oshkosh North by the score of 95-83. Mason Freiburger led the team with 29 points and 9 rebounds. Cahlil Jones poured in 12 points with 5 rebounds and 8 assists. Peyton Mckenna and Ryan Ferguson had 11 points each. Ferguson also had 4 rebounds and assists and Mckenna had 4 steals. AJ Willard chipped in 8 points with 5 assists.
Nathan Hale came into town on Tuesday and the Warhawks ended up winning 93-37. 11 players total score with 6 players in double figures. Mason Freiburger had a double double with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Ryan Ferguson contributed 14 points and 5 rebounds and Nick Humphriss had 12 points. Carter Privatt and JJ Walters had 10 points each and AJ Willard had 11 points and 5 rebounds.
Come out and support the boys tonight as they battle Marquette for 1st place in the GMC at home. Game time is 7 p.m.!
Last Friday the girls' basketball team defeated state ranked Tosa East 65-59 to gain sole possession of 2nd place in the GMC. Lucy Leininger had a monster game with 22 points, 8 rebounds and 6 blocks. Madeline Jakusz contributed 12 points and 12 rebounds. Jaycee Mani had 13 points and 5 steals, while Danica Gosz also chipped in 12 points to the winning cause.
On Tuesday, the Warhawks soundly defeated West Allis Hale 69-29. Greta Poire scored her first basket of the season to account for the final score. Lucy Leininger led the way with 21 points, while Madeline Jakusz (11 points), Danica Gosz (10 points) and Mary Leininger (10 points) also reached double digits in the scoring column.
The varsity boys competed at the Classic 8 Varsity Conference Meet last week Saturday. It was a day of fast swimming for all of the boys. Almost everyone on the team had lifetime best times and if not lifetime, season best times. The hard work in the pool is sure paying off.

Germantown’s varsity team competed in the Slinger Winter Duals over this past weekend going 5-0 en route to a 1st place finish, defeating Slinger 42-36 in the championship dual. The Warhawks had 4 wrestlers go 5-0 on the day, Owen Becker, Ryan Michalski , Derek Rukamp and Nathan Stiebs.
The JV team competed in the Kewaskum JV Invite with all wrestlers finishing with multiple wins on the day and Jordan Schmidt taking 1st place in his bracket.
Varsity will compete in the GMC tournament this weekend and look to win their 3rd straight conference tournament. Good luck!
