Student-Athletes from the Athletic and Activity Council  attended the WIAA Sportsmanship Summit in Stevens Point on Wednesday! 


The Germantown Boys’ Basketball State Championship Game teams will be honored on Friday, December 22, 2023 in the GHS Fieldhouse. 


State Champs in 2012, 2013, 2014 and Runner Up in 2015 players will be honored.  (There were 36 different players that were members of one, two or three of those four teams).


All of those players, coaches and their families are cordially invited to attend.  These players and coaches will be introduced at halftime of 7:00pm varsity game vs. Brookfield Central.


Ben Averkamp will also be inducted into the GHS Wall of Fame!

SkillsUSA held their district 5 competition last night at West Bend High School. Congratulations to Claire Reedy who took first in Advertising Design, Angela Zheng took first in Medical Terminology, Aarjav Bhavsar took second and Jack Thumann took first in Medical Math, Jayden Knight took first in Job Interview and Sahejpreet Kaur took second in Extemporaneous Speaking. Nice job to all and good luck at Regionals!


Pep Band has been practicing throughout the month of November and made their premier performance on Tuesday as the girls team took on Wauwatosa East. Look for them at select games throughout the season. 


United Sound meets Tuesdays after school. The new musicians are learning quickly on their instruments. The group also play musical games and have a fun time making music together. 


The Tri-M students are preparing to spread holiday cheer with their musical talents. Next week they will be performing for Germantown residents. To prepare, they have been practicing the music to perfection. 



On Saturday, the Warchix traveled to Watertown and they had some great performances! They came back with a 2nd place in Pom, a 2nd place in Kick and a 5th place in Jazz. Great job Warchix!


On Friday, December 8th the Warhawks traveled to Wauwatosa West and defeated the Trojans 69-61.  The team was led by Mason Freiburger's 26 point and 11 rebound double double.  Peyton Mckenna added 11 points and 4 assists and Carter Privatt had 10 points, 4 assists, 3 rebounds, and 3 steals.  Cahlil Jones finished with 9 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists and Ryan Ferguson had 7 points and 7 rebounds.   


The Warhawks traveled to another Greater Metro Conference foe on Tuesday and tallied another victory at Wauwatosa East 90-57.  12 total players scored with Mason Freiburger leading the way with 17 points.  Carter Privatt was next with 13 points and AJ Willard added 10.  Other scorers were JJ Walters with 9 and Peyton Mckenna and Nick Humphriss with 8 respectively.  Cahlil Jones stuffed the stat sheet again with 6 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists.  Niko Ciardo and Ryan Ferguson both had 6 points with Ciardo dishing out 4 assists and Ferguson grabbing 4 rebounds.   


The Hawks look to add to their 3 game winning streak as they travel to West Allis Hale tonight at 7.  Come out and support the guys!


On Tuesday the girls’ basketball team routed Wauwatosa East 100-68. After a close 1st half, the Warhawks turned it on and scored 53 points in the 2nd half, holding Tosa East to 26. Lucy Leininger (18 points), Madeline Jakusz (17 points), Danica Gosz (16 points) and Jaycee Mani (13 points) all scored in double figures. Addie Bushki hit three 3-pointers off the bench and Megan Grater sank the free throw that got the team to the 100 point mark for the 8th time in the past seven seasons.

Last night the Germantown Boys' Swim Team competed against Wauwatosa in a conference dual.  Despite the fact that both the Varsity and JV team fell short, the boys swam really well for the first dual meet. There were a lot of lifetime best times and great season beginning times.
