For over a decade, Germantown Youth Futures has helped support area families celebrate the holidays. Partnering with the Youth & Family Project's Gingerbread House, the youth in our program review wish lists and help select gifts for families, helping them learn about wants, needs, budgeting, and helping others.
Thanks to the generous support of KMS Cares, we were also able to supply families with cleaning, household, laundry, and hygiene supplies they requested to help their household stay healthy.
Ahead of the 2022 program, we are excited to work with Leadership Germantown on fundraising efforts to support this program and our community.
Thank you as well to all of the volunteers, youth and adult, that helped shop, wrap, sort, transport, store, and deliver. We could not do it without you!
In 2021, Germantown Youth Futures was able to support six families/24 individuals (11 adults, 13 youth) by providing items in need, including:
• Holiday gifts
• Cleaning supplies
• Laundry supplies
• Toilet paper & paper towel
• Hygiene products
• Diapers & wipes
