Principal Croatt

Welcome to Rockfield

My name is Dana Croatt and it is an honor to be your child’s elementary principal.  I have served the Rockfield school community for a number of years and look forward to continuing to serve this incredible school for many years to come.  Rockfield is a special place where students and staff fill the hallways with laughter, learning and kindness.  We strive to enhance the learning of the whole child and embrace teaching our students to be their best learners and their best selves towards others.

We also have a very supportive PTA who enhances our school in so many ways.  Please take a look around our website to learn more about our school, our staff and ways to get involved with our PTA.

Please feel free to reach out to me at any time with questions, concerns or ideas you want to share that might positively impact our school.

Blue Ribbon School

The Department of Public Instruction nominates schools each year—and in 2012, Rockfield School, nominated based on high student achievement, was one of eight public schools in Wisconsin to receive the national Blue Ribbon School award.

As part of a larger effort by the Department of Public Education to identify and share knowledge about best school leadership and teaching practices, the purpose of the blue ribbon program is to bring public attention to American schools that are successful.

School representatives gather in Washington D.C. each fall to attend an awards ceremony. In November of 2012 over 800 educators met to attend seminars and receive a plaque and flag to signify their school's success. This is a very prestigious national award and Rockfield was very proud to be recognized.
